The Little Butterfly
The Little Butterfly
Sineeja Sibu
Once upon a
time, there lived a butterfly. One day she laid an egg on a leaf of a tree and
she flew away. After some days, the egg hatched and a caterpillar came out. The
caterpillar ate the leaves of the tree for some days. In due course, the
caterpillar turned into a pupa. She lived there for some days. After a few
days, the pupa cracked and a beautiful little butterfly came out. She flew
around all the day and in night; she used to sleep
on the branch of the tree.
One day a
wicked butterfly told her;
“Behind that hill, there is a beautiful garden
with a lot of flowers and there is very sweet nectar is those flowers. You can
go there and have the nectar”.
In the
evening the new born butterfly told about this to her friend. The friend
responded that it will be dangerous.
“Anyway I am
going there. If you want you may come with me.”
The
butterfly said and flew away to the garden. She had the sweet nectar there.
When she was going back, it was dark and thought to go back next day and slept
on a branch of the tree in the garden. In the morning when she woke up, but
unfortunately, she forgot the way back home and she got lost.
Moral: Think
twice before you act.
